A first generation Colombian-American from NYC, he is a driven and creative individual with a knack for successful operations and scaling. After graduating high school with 50+ college credits, he transferred to UNLV and graduated in 2010 with a BA in Experimental Psychology. During college he excelled in the insurance industry while saving his money for an eventual opportunity. He turned down an offer to open his own agency to instead pursue opening a restaurant.
During college he excelled in the insurance industry while saving up his money for an eventual opportunity. He turned down an offer to open his own insurance agency to instead pursue opening a café. He plans to continue growing Makers & Finders to other cities and bringing empanadas and coffee to retail shelves nationwide.
MARTHA MOLINA, CO-FOUNDER/CFO
In 1981, Martha migrated from Colombia to the USA. Her leap was intentional and risky, as she was aiming for her pursuit of a better life via the American dream.
Before her high school education was completed, she entered the work force even though she was new to the country and had a soft grasp on the English language. All things considered, she was leveraging her talent for organization, thoroughness, and exceptional learning ability. She began to hone her skills at an early age, while simultaneously finishing her education.
Her readiness to learn and absorb content gave the foundation to her platform in medical administration. During her career in this field, she managed the scheduling, payroll, accounts receivable/payables, and human resources for multiple hospitals in New York City, NY and Las Vegas, NV. The skills she gained over the 30+ year career enabled her to take Makers & Finders to new level.
In 2017, Martha took the role of Managing Partner with a focus on building an HR and Accounting program that would permeate the emerging brunch restaurant. Since taking on this role, Makers & Finders has been able to grow the size of employees by 450%. She has been able to implement group health insurance and supplemental benefits for full time employees. She has personally overseen the growth through building native financial reports that provide clean real time data for important metrics for profitability.
